Sidewalk Chalk Paint

As corny as it sounds, I am so thankful for Pinterest. I 

honestly feel I am and will be a better mom because of it. 

I know, I know. That sounds so dumb, but really. I am not 

always a creative person, and there are so many people

 that are! When I saw the pin for sidewalk chalk paint, I knew 

I had to try it. I mean, I am 

the adult and I wanted to play with it. 

It was super easy to make and Morgan loved it. I was 

a little worried about it staining her after she painted her 

neck orange, but thankfully most of it came right off with 

a bath. When it rained it disappeared from the driveway too. 

I loved watching her play and explore. Cory, on the other 

hand, not so much. The man dislikes messes. So when she 

put the paint brush in her mouth, squeezed the brush and paint 

went dripping down her leg, and smeared paint all over the

 driveway he just about freaked out. I reassured him that it would 

be fine and laughed my head off. I'm not sure what was 

more funny, Morgan or him!

I can't wait to do it again and try some more Pinterest 

inspiredactivities! We are having a wonderful summer 

with our sweet little girl and are so blessed that we get our 

summers off with her. Not many people get blessed with that!!
